Manage your account

If you want to change name, phone number or password associated to your account on, please update them in correspondant section named "My account". To change settings of your account: 

  1. Visit "My account" section
  2. Change what you wish, then click on "Modify" button

If you want to add a shipping address or modify an existing one, please update the data in "My addresses" section. To update your addresses:

  • Visit "My addresses" section
  • Add new address, or modify an existing one, then click on "Modify" button

Manage your orders

Shopping on is really very simple. Register or log in, choose your favorite items and put them in the cart.

1. Search
Find your favorite products by browsing our catalog or using search bar. By clicking on the image of a product you will be directed to its detail page, where you will find information about the product, its packaging and weight. You can also browse by type of article or category. Finally, you can use the free search, by typing the word you are interested in in the search field called "Search a product", located in the top bar.

2. Choose
Make your choice! Insert your favorite products in the cart.

3. Buy
In order to proceed with the purchase please register or login. Then proceed entering the requested data and complete the order.

Each purchase transaction ends with the payment of the indicated amount. For payment you can use either your PayPal account or one of the credit cards listed below. For your payments we have chosen  PayPal security, reliability and speed.

When you purchase an item on, sold and shipped by a seller, the order confirmation email can be considered a proof of purchase. You can print and keep it. The invoice for your order will be provided to you directly by the seller along with the purchased items. does not provide either the purchase receipt or the invoice for the items sold.

To contact a seller before placing an order:

  1. On the presentation page of each seller, press "Contact the seller" button, positioned at the top below the presentation text; or in the detail page of a product press "Ask more info" button.
  2. Fill out information request form. Your message will be sent directly to the seller, who will reply as soon as possible.

To contact a seller after placing an order:

  1. Enter "My orders" section and view the order details.
  2. Click on "Contact seller" next to the reference order.
  3. Fill out the information request form. Your message will be sent directly to the seller who will reply as soon as possible.

To return an item purchased on, you will have to return it directly to the seller.

For more information about a seller's return policy, you can click on seller's name and visit his detail page. On each seller's page you will find all the information about shipping costs. Only for some companies you will be able to find information on return costs.

At the bottom right of the seller's detail page you will find the "Return Policy" section and a link for more information. If the seller has not entered specific information on return policies in this section, please contact our Customer Service at to better manage your request.

Each seller has a specific return policy.Consult the seller's page to find link for contacting him directly and get information about the shipping costs for returning purchased items. The latter are usually charged to the customer.

However, if you receive an item that is damaged or does not match the seller's description, you may be eligible for a full refund. If you contacted the seller within 14 days of delivery of the product and if you returned the product within 30 days of delivery, but you have not received assistance, you can file a complaint by contacting our Customer Service at

We recommend that you carefully pack the item to prevent damage in transit and that your return be shipped via a tracked shipping method with signature on delivery. We can only refund products returned correctly, otherwise we will not be able to refund. If you do not use a tracked shipping method with signature on delivery to return your item and the seller does not refund you, your complaint may not be accepted as it is not possible to verify that the return was received by the seller.

Refusing a delivery does not mean returning the product with a traceable shipping method, in case of refused delivery it may not be possible to provide a refund under the seller's return policies. We recommend that you accept the delivery and then start the return process.

If you return the purchased product within 14 calendar days of delivery, exercising the right of withdrawal, the seller will refund both the shipping costs incurred to receive the product, and the price paid for the purchase made in the following ways:

  • If you are returning an item that is part of an order that also includes other items, the seller will refund the shipping costs for the item you have decided to return.
  • If you are returning an entire order, the seller will refund the shipping costs for the entire order. The seller will only refund you the standard shipping costs for both items delivered in Italy and for items delivered outside Italy. If the seller arranges the collection of the item at your home, he can request payment of the costs of the collection.

When you exercise the right of withdrawal, the costs for returning the product are at your expense.

When you buy the contract is concluded between you and the seller, receives the payments and transfers them to the seller. Refunds relating to orders are made by the seller himself. You will receive a refund on the payment method used for your purchase. The reimbursement of the price of the item for which the withdrawal has been exercised and, where applicable, of the shipping costs, is made within 14 days of receipt of your notice of withdrawal. If you receive a notification from informing you that the payment with your credit card has been rejected, please contact the bank or institution that issued the card to understand the reasons. Only your bank can tell you why your payment debit request was rejected.

We also recommend that you check that the credit card associated with your account has not expired.

If you place an order and the debit payment request is not accepted, we will send you an email asking you to confirm your card details. If the debit request is rejected again, the order will be canceled. If you still want to purchase the item, you will need to place another order.

Buying one of the product kits on Dolceitaliano is very simple. Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Read kit sheet and choose articles you wish to insert in your kit;
  2. Fill the box named "Your specific request" writing the content you wish for your kit;
  3. Click on "Add to cart" to complete your order.

Please note that you can compose your kit as you want: even different products of the same type, IE. I can compose a kit with 2 raspberry jams, instead of one one blueberry jam and one raspberry jam.

Info about shippings

Shipping costs are calculated based on the gross weight of the items, obtained by adding the net weight, the weight of the package and the packaging.

To know the details of the shipping costs, including packaging and transport, you can consult:

  • the page of each seller. Expenses are shown below the list of products;
  • the summary page of your order in the Cart;

Shipping costs in Italy vary depending on the chosen seller and are divided, for all sellers, into these four weight ranges:

  • 0 to 4 kg
  • From 4 to 8 kg
  • From 8 to 14 kg
  • Over 14 kg

Shipping and delivery times vary depending on the seller. For more information, you can contact the seller via "Contact seller" button, present on each seller's presentation page, or from the detail page of your order.

Availability of articles
The indication of the availability of an item informs you about the handling and shipping times of your order.

On there are three different availability options for the articles:

  • Immediate availability. The item is available and the seller will send it according to the chosen shipping method.
  • Currently not available. The item will not be available for purchase until the seller makes it available again.
  • Pre-order. Product will be ready for shipping from the specified date, but it can be ordered many days before, knowing that it will be shipped later, from the specified date or when the product is ready.

If you order multiple items, there are some factors that could affect the shipping:

  • Multiple copies of the same item may not be available.
  • Each item ordered could come from different centers and be shipped separately.
  • Larger items take longer to prepare and ship.

When your order is shipped, you can track it in "My orders" section.

To track your shipment:

  • Visit "My orders" section.
  • Select the order you want to track.
  • Click on "Track my package".

You can track your orders from "My Orders" section using any device.


  • It is possible to find differences in the wordings relating to traceability between site and the courier's site, since couriers use different wordings to indicate various stages of shipment.
  • In "My orders" section on the you will find a simplified version of the updates.
  • Please note that some items may be shipped separately and may not be delivered with the rest of the order.
  • Sometimes, in the first phase of the shipment, an intermediate courier could be used. Its tracking information is not available on the site.

In the event that "Delivered" appears on the courier's website next to the shipment status, but the package has not been received, visit "Help" page on and consult "Find a package delivered but not received" section. Here you can find all the information you need.

Most orders are delivered on time and without incident, but sometimes it is possible that the shipment status on courier's site is "delivered" and you have not received your package. In some cases, the courier in charge of delivering your package will be able to provide additional information on the status of the shipment.

If the tracking information indicates that the package has been delivered but you have not received it you may find yourself in the following situations:

  • If other people live with you at the same address, check if the package was delivered to them or if they refused delivery.
  • If you live in an apartment building with concierge service, check if the package is at the concierge.
  • Check to see if a notice of your shipment has been delivered to your mailbox.
  • Follow the instructions on the postcard for more information on how to collect or return the package.

Info about Gift Cards

The Gift Card is a practical, convenient and quick solution to make an original and appreciated gift since it leaves total freedom of choice to the recipient. It is a virtual postcard associated with a code consisting of 20 alphanumeric characters (e.g. XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) which, once redeemed, allows you to either upload credit to your account or give the Gift Card to a friend or loved one. They are valid for ten years from the date of issue, regardless of the expiry date indicated on them. A Gift Card is an evergreen solution for a successful present.

By purchasing a Gift Card for yourself or for others on our e-commerce, you get a credit that can be spent to buy on our e-commerce only.

As explained in "What Gift Card is" paragraph, a Dolceitaliano gift card can be redeemed (when received as a gift from third parties), or sent to other people (to make a gift suitable for any occasion) or, again, it can be purchased for personal use (as if it were a credit card linked to your account). At the time of payment, the amount of the Gift Card will be deducted from the total amount of the shopping.

We remind you that it is not mandatory to spend all the coupons in one go. If you have any balance left over from your shopping, you can use it later. If insufficient to fully cover the expenses for further purchases, you can use another payment method, among those accepted on our e-commerce, to pay the difference.

All Dolceitaliano Gift Cards have only a digital format, you will decide later whether to print it or keep the email only. You can choose between different denominations available or you can freely define an amount between 20 euros and 1000 euros. 

It's very easy to use a Gift Card.

First of all, you must log in to access the site by clicking on the "Log in" link located on the page at the top right. Then go to "My Gift Cards" page where you can decide whether to add a Gift Card to your account or check your available balance. Then simply enter the gift card code in corresponding box and confirm by clicking on "Add to my account".

Your available balance will be automatically displayed in the appropriate section and can be used to purchase products of your choice on If the total of your order exceeds the value of the Gift Card, the difference must be paid using another payment method.
